White Crane's R?

By Sol Badguy, in UFS Rules Q & A

White Cranes response reads as: R Commit, discard 1 momentum: After your opponent plays an attack with at least 2 keywords, discard it from their card pool and cancel its effects.

So correct me if I am wrong but if your opponent plays an attack as a block and that attack has 2 or more keywords then could you use White Cranes R to discard it and negate the block thus allowing your attack to go unblocked?

yes that works

Note also that if a block is canceled the attack can not be blocked again.

8.3.2.13 If a block effect is negated, the defending player may not play a new block.

Man, people got pissed when I did that with my Seth deck.

It can only make White Crane that much better.

HAH! Time for folks to start hanging onto non-attack blocks, eh?
