So, my friends and I noticed that when we started playing again, our favorite character pictures were being ripped by the plastic stand. Does anyone have a suggestion how to remedy this? (If someone had already posted a similar question on the forums, can someone please redirect me to it? Thank you)

Also, I had some questions about the gameplay:

1. When you resolve a rumor and have some eldritch tokens left over, do you get those tokens or does it go back into the box? If you do get them, what do you do with them?

2. When testing conditions (not on resolve/reckoning) during the action phase, is there a limit as to how many conditions you can resolve? So for instance, if I had a hunger condition and a hypothermia condition and decided to rest, can I test both or do I choose one of them?

3. What exactly happens if all the expedition cards are gone? I know there are some mythos cards that state the game ends, but what if it is not a mythos related issue? This hasn't come up yet, but we were pretty close to having the expedition cards burned up (because of a crawling chaos rumor that we resolved at the last minute).

4. This question is just to make sure. We usually play a 3 player game and I know that the monster surge is 2 monsters during mythos. However, what if there is only one empty gate? Do we spawn two monsters at that gate or one monster and one gate?

You can roll for each one that allows it.

Also: You make a separate roll for each condition.

I don't understand the "only one empty gate" part. It doesn't matter whether the gates are empty.

As for the opening: are you referring to the chits or to the sheets? If the former, you can use some acrylic spray to protect them from tear & wear (or you can use miniamerican sleeves and fold the upper part backwards, fixing it with some transparent tape); if the latter, you can laminate them.
