YUP leaving in a couple days for it and would be nice to know what we are playing for. Honestly I would have thought they would put out some statement on how the event would be run at least, as the prize support could have mitigating factors holding it back from preview. Or at least said SOMETHING but the silence is worrying, the first national of the year and the first time at origins so they decide to say nothing about it until a couple days before hand? I love ffg op and I obviously continue to support them but this is a communication breakdown and it's going to leave A LOT of people unhappy.

The more logical answer comes from the recent fly casual article. Prize support has caused too much contention in the community so this year's Nationals will not provide anything other than the experiences you have while playing.

Enjoy your games and remember to take photos, as this year's experience is its only prize.

TBH its not the prize support im concerned about. The problem is they did almost 0 promotion for any of the nationals events. So, not many people saw it and signed up. The LCG has under 20 people apparently. What is going to cause a ton of anger is the fact that Netrunner and SWLCG have a chance at being reduced from 2-days to 1-day events and they won't announce until day of. That means people are over paying for flights, hotels, rentals etc. and whether right or wrong thats going to fall back on OP

OP needs new management more in tune with modern day communication strategies. Right now, they cumulate mistakes and hunker down in shame/guilt/ego.

I am sure it is hard for them as OP is probably a loss leader to drive sales, so they probably get the shaft from the rest of the company. But that makes communication and good customer service all the more important IMO.

Heroes, I bet there will be a display at celebration since they want to ride the popularity of the new movie.. that being said, i think they will be available for retail sale at Gencon, with street release sometime late august. have to keep in mind disney and hasbro are having another force friday in september

Word the street it'll be long awaited rebel veterans. The first ship is the underused e wing. They've listened to player demand and are including a few fixes for the ship: an astromech and a system upgrade. The astromech is call N33-DD2-W1N and it says when you would take damage, don't. The system upgrade is called advanced GIT GUD deflectors and it reads "when you perform an attack, the opponent does not roll defense dice. Both are Corran Horn only. Incidentally they only include one pilot fir the ewing: corran horn. The other ship is the much maligned HWK. Don't know much about it, but it includes a new (fixed) C3P0 that allows you discard the card and win the game I'd your opponent is annoying.

The pack will cost $100 :-)

The Force Friday stuff would be unannounced Rogue One stuff, not Wave 9. Heroes was announced first, so it will release first.

We've had four xwing articles, and they haven't said one interesting thing in any of them.

At least we'll be getting some armada news.

I know, 4 of the last 6 articles were X-Wing, and the only new information was a release date that should have been announced weeks ago...well the release dates of two products...that were the same release date...but as two articles for no real good reason...
