So, to prevent another crisis like the K-Wing Slam action last year, they decided to turn the ship around back to China to restart production!!! Now, they have to make sure that everything is okay before giving us our precious Jumpmaster preview....

The entire of Wave 8 has been washed away, together with an IG88 reprint, which is now causing serious confusion amongst the Kamchatkan shrimping fleet. Amidst growing concern, the incident has now started to provoke International consternation and condemnation.

They are probably waiting for Store Champs to end. Other probability: ALL of Wave 8 is in Minnesota, except for a few expansions scattered across Europe, etc.
FFG has it all locked up in storage with security measures in place, maybe.

Why though? They had no problem dropping wave 6 in the middle of store champs last year. Why should wave 8 be any different?
This is really odd. It can't just be the fact the wait has driven us all mad (all fun and no...) Sorry what? Seriously though it is strange that it's taken this long. Maybe something has gone all Pete Tong somewhere down the line.
What we all thought was the Punishing One in the wave 8 release was actually just a misshapen horseshoe that was accidentally placed with the real miniatures. FFG apologizes for the mistake, and will now return to feasting upon it's customer's sadness.
Well, perhaps we'll get some news soon? Las week the CSCL Indian Ocean ran aground near Hamburg and was only today towed free. After inspection it should be able to continue its journey to Hamburg and Rotterdam after that to unload its cargo of 19000 containers.

Given that there have been people posting hands-on videos of the Punishing One expac in Germany for like two weeks, and there have been French-language unofficial spoilers for just as long, I doubt it. Plus, I understand that the minis usually are dropped off and warehoused until release in the EU, and then the ship(s) continue(s) on to the US. It's much more likely that Winter Snowpocalypse has delayed the release than this.
