I’m really tempted to get into Armada, and that 100 dollar price for the starter box seems so reasonable compared to the Epic Corvettes in X-wing, especially with any discounts.

only problem with the Chimera is that already owning an ISD makes it difficult to build lists around they're big, expensive buggers

though gotta admit I'm sorely tempted by the Cymoon 1's rather obnoxious long range firepower. Only problems is getting re-rolls on that bugger alongside Gunnery Team (which is basically essential on ships that expensive, not counting ye ol Boarding Engineers Avenger ) so I wouldn't really recommend it over the ISD-2 apart from its unique upgrade slot

now the Kuat is easy. Boarding Engineers, leading shots, External Racks and Avenger just annihilates anything at close range almost regardless of size

I play every FFG Star Wars game except the card game, so I definitely get this. I get excited when the card game gets a new expansion, just because I like to see all the cool art on the cards that might end up on an X-Wing card some day!

Actually, the new Destiny release has some interesting implications for X-Wing... Doctor Aphra finally made it to that game, so it seems quite possible now that some of the Disney Marvel comics characters will appear in X-Wing as well! Still waiting on Obi-Wan though...

It's was just frustrating that they have waited almost a year to issue the whole FAQ.....it's getting depressing.

Maybe FFG were waiting for the Battlefront 2 Beta to finish so they could see how disgustingly powerful the Bombers are in that and errata/FAQ them into the game accordingly?

At this point I'd be surprised if we get an FAQ before Guns for Hire drops. I'd guess at that being the cause of the delay at this point, not wanting to get more than one FAQ approved by LFL.

Word on the street is, there is a System Open that’s going to be at PAX unplugged. That is a little over a month away, and they still haven’t announced it. So, if true, that has to be coming soon too.

I am just wondering what the hold up is.
