Yep, you can play without getting the core box. There's going to be a essentials box coming out at the same time as the elves, which holds all the components in the core box.

@geordan How much hassle would it be to create a version of your builder with altered values for the Vassal League Off-season tournament? Are the values in a database that would just need the "corrected" point costs entered? Would it help to have a volunteer enter that data?

Every time it comes to a new wave I forget how long the wait was between ship articles

COuld be one a week for three weeks, could be one a month for three months. COuld be two a week apart then one 2 months later, like with Wave 8.

It was whichever one had the Jumpmaster in it.

If you think with logic, then you would wait till next Monday for artillery to show up, but not sure if FFG follows logic thought. There might be even C-Roc article up next Monday, because it is very close to be published!
