FFG has forsaken X-wing.... even though we have a new movie coming out in 3 months, there will be no news until GENCON, even though we have one SKU missing from the current product line. Legion will be the new King of FFG when it comes out in March, with every piece of Rebel and Imperial technology and troop type for land based combat announced before the game even hits the shelves. All we see right now is Destiny and Legion news since the LCG has been cancelled, Imperial Assault seems to have fallen under the way side. And X-Wing and Armada seemed to have slowed down due to "Lack of Content" when they have a treasure trove of things to use from Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One, Novels, and dare I say it.... the PREQUELS and CLONE WARS!!!! So PLEASE FFG, give of something this week, your fans are dying to know something new.

Anyone know how many winner designed cards are still unaccounted for? Last one I remember hearing about was Bo She's which was Heavers third card I think.

Yes we may have had this stuff within the last 8 months, but we are so used to a new wave article being out roughly 2-3 weeks after a wave has been released. I have been playing since 2014 and that has been the norm until now. It has been 2 months since the release of wave 12, (I refuse to call it wave 12 and 13) and we have one unreleased SKU on the product page that has not been announced. Everything you have listed has been amazing, but there is a lot of things the Community wants to see from all the new canon material but FFG seems to want to do their own thing.

Because normally, the next wave gets announced before the current wave gets released.
Wave 12/13 has been out for months now and still no sign of Wave 14.

Well, "dying for new content" doesn't necessarily mean "want new stuff now". Just that we're currently lacking in news and things to talk about. You can add 3-5 months to an initial announcement before we see a new release. So, even if there was a new product announcement today, it would still likely be late May at the earliest to July before we actually saw it on the table.
But a new product announcement would give people something to speculate over, discuss potential new mechanics, unrevealed cards etc, and would also promise multiple additional preview articles in the months to come.
Plus, there's plenty of X-Wing related content that could use an article even if we rule out new products; we still haven't had any article for the European Championships for example. Or news on the next season Game Night Kits. An update on the System Opens would be fun too.
Pretty much. I don't massively mind what it is, but even discounting Christmas it's now been a month and a half since we had any x-wing-related news, except for the FAQ release.
We've got Worlds in 2.5 months, Euros in 3.5 months, and 2 quarterly kits we don't know about, one that's theoretically already halfway done, and one that is due in 1.5 months.
There's a lot that needs to be said even discounting an unannounced SKU and a potential new wave.

Speculating on new products is pretty frustrating to me, especially when certain people my FLGS proxy cards that aren't issued yet (I really hate that). I understand where people are coming from but there has been so much new content issued recently that there shoudl be PLENTY to keep us all busy for a long time. New combos, new synergies, new things to experiement with. % new ships just hit the table and people already want moew, it just seems strange to me.
We get it, you don't want news. I respect that. Respect us and our authentic need for more news.

I need new ships now or I'll start spending my money really dumb. Just bought a second Ghost just because I want to cut it open, light up the engines, and paint it a different color. If there's new ships coming out, I spend my X-Wing time actually buying and trying new ships, not amassing ridiculous numbers of old ships.

I wish FFG would sell the Attack Shuttle seperately. I really don't want to Ghosts but I do want another shuttle.

I really don't want FFG to rush and give some some garbage that people then gripe about ad-nausium. If they need time to deliver a quality, well-balanced product I am all for that. I think my biggest issue with the announcements is the bile it boils up in others. If a rebel ship is announced all the imperial players stat in with the "when will the empire get love'. Or whatever. There is always a vocal group that just whines and whines. Maybe thats just the nature of the interwebs these days.
More time doesn't automatically translate into higher quality in a linear fashion.
