the next release will be the X Wing Partisan and it will come with a re release of all the early astromechs which are just awful.... this is not a prediction more of a wish.

At this point, SWX58 is likely to be somehow tied to something as yet unrevealed in the current series of Rebels - it's the only explanation for why it remains so unacknowledged, to my mind.
