Just want the points cost of the cheapest Protectorate, is that too much to ask!

In all honesty even knowing the cheapest cost of the Protectorate doesn't really matter for the Scyk. I run the number using the cheapest Scyk with all upgrades to bring to on par with what we know Of the Protectorate, and it is only four points cheaper of the most expensive Protectorate. So unless they can release an epic fix for the Scyk that ship is mostly out of the game. Which is rather upsetting as I do like the ship.

At the bare minimum, we will get Heroes of the Resistance spoiled over the next 5 weeks, since that will at least be at Gencon.

Nobody has suggested Corran needs fixing. Indeed, an awful lot of the discussion around potential e-wing upgrades has revolved around how to fix etahn and the generics without rendering Corran wildly OP.

Lets you move obstacles at least once after setup. Extrapolating wildly ... could we be nearing a capability in X-wing to adjust or remove obstacles from the board? (I've always wanted that ability, so this is more opportunistic wishful thinking than anything else.)

Suggestion: destroy one obstacle, but before removing it, place 3 mini debris field within range 1. Could be fun

Yeah, but if FFG tries to bump up the usability of generic E-wings, they'll leave other generics with the same alleged problem: very little history of use and the player gripes that come along with it....like the Phantom, etc. Performing such a 'lower-pilot fix' might be akin to opening Pandora's box.

I understand your desire, but I would not bank my hopes on wave 9 reaching worlds in time. It is still in the printing stage, add 3 months of "on the boat" and then add 11 days of wait time for "premium events" (see tournament regulations).

I could use some news for wave 9 though; it would cheer me up.

I expect the next BIG X-Wing news day to be at Star Wars Celebration during the Coruscant Invitational.
