Yes. They did show them. Merely extended art versions of Vader and Luke.

Yes it does. The promo cards don't have actual new artwork, but by using the tighter promo card layout, there's more room for the original artwork so you can see more of it.

I've given up hope. This thread will reach at least 103.66 pages before wave 9 is previewed. What's even the point of rolling dice anymore. I go to the list builder, but there are no new ships or pilots, there is nothing to do. All the lists have been made. This is a darktime.

Unlike the mostly negative response to its namesake topic in that other 100 page thread, I think everyone here agrees we need a new preview.
I know this has been asked before, but does anyone know the numbers on what the max length of time between main wave announcements has been since the previous waves release?
I'm starting to really believe Wave 9 has some Rogue One tie-ins and we wont hear about it for a good bit longer.
I figured out your actual answer...assuming that the dates on the X-Wing Wiki are correct.
The longest between the release of a wave and the announcement for the next one was 148 days. Wave 3 until Wave 4 announced.
• Imperial Veterans release article sometime next week (probably Tuesday).
• Wave 9 announcement at the UKGE next weekend.
• Wave 9 full preview article the following week.
Simples.
The Preview won't be late. It'll arrive exactly when it means to.

I am going to be rather shocked if they don't say anything at all about worlds/ nationals, even if its just a "hold on to your pants" post. Especially since they said tickets for worlds would go on sale in May.

I knew as soon as I saw Rogue Squadron that it wasn't going to be an article for x-wing. No way they'd announce 2 rebel packs back-to-back without anything for other factions (we have imp vets, but that's only 1 for imp and 0 for scum)
Not necessarily. The announcement for Heroes of the Resistance is for Resistance forces which can be played with Rebels, but Resistance is it's own faction. By this reasoning, we are due something for Rebels, First Order, and S&V.
