The SKU numbers have me intrigued. Will Wave 9 appear in a preview soon? Are they holding out on Wave 9 info because it has Rogue One material? Will Heroes of the Resistance and Wave 9 release at or around the same time? Are those SKUs not even Wave 9?
All interesting things to think about.
4-ship Wave 9 or 3-ship Wave 9 plus Scum Vets would be my guess.
In a recent interview Alex Davy mentioned that after wave 9 Scum will have an equal number of ships to the Empire, so my guess is wave 9 is comprised of 1 Rebel 1 Imperial and 2 Scum.

Eldritch horror and Imperial assault updates are great. Eldritch horror is a great entry level game for beginners to board games, RPGs and Pen and Paper and Imperial assault desperately needs more attention.
I almost don't want Wave Nine to be announced as it means a TIE S/f will curse our boards.

I think a now available news post for Imperial Veterans will be the next X-wing product news we get.
Then either a Wave 9 announcement or a preview of one of the ships from Heroes of the Resistance. I suppose it depends on which is going to ship first, Wave 9 or HotR.
Surprise armade wave with Corvette Command ship from Rebels along with Interdictor, quasar fire, ARGH Kittens, Phoenix squadron, SCUM faction, Acclimator and Venator, and providence class for rebels.

It's hard to be a bounty hunter if your bounty has to sit in your lap for the flight back. Scum should be almost entirely large ships. It helps build a faction identity, and most named characters in the EU flew larger craft.

It's hard to be a bounty hunter if your bounty has to sit in your lap for the flight back. Scum should be almost entirely large ships. It helps build a faction identity, and most named characters in the EU flew larger craft.
Scum isn't exclusively bounty hunters, though. It also is pirates and mercs that very well have a use for fighters. Black Sun is a huge part of the Scum factions identity, as are the hutt cartels. In my opinion independant pirates need a little bit more stuff. Right now all we have for those is Kath Scarlet and her Binayre pirates + maybe the YV-666 generic.
Cloakshape fighter and Preybird NEED to be in scum like back in wave 6.

Most Hunter and IG 2000 are practically the same size, yet one is small and the other large.
I wonder if a 'medium' base could be made that is 'long' as well as one that is 'square'. The K-wing can have the 'long' medium base set 'wide' like two small bases side by side to represent the insane wing span, and the punisher could have the 'square' base that is the same area as two small bases. IG would be 'long', like the HWK, the Mist Hunter maybe long as well. Battle butterfly I guess would be square.
What other ships would you think need a medium base?

Ya, we get other base sizes and things get a little confusing. I think Firespray could be a medium size, misthunter too. And maybe punishing one?
