The T-70 and TIE FO were the only ships seen in the trailers so it makes sense how they were released as an extra part part of wave 8.

I don't want any of those ships... I could live with Kyle Ren's shuttle, but either of the troop transports, and Poe's special T-70 being treated as its own ship, would all be awful additions in my opinion. The troop transports especially. I would really, really not like seeing those.

I would actually be okay with the rebel troop transport, possibily give rebels a large base ship similar to the Lambda shuttle or Hound's Tooth. Poe's X-wing wouldn't be treated as it's own ship, if we get it at all, it would be in an Aces pack or epic ship where it's just a repainted modelt hat still counts as the normal ship. I don't want the FO troop transport.

Now, for better or worse, I would expect the majority of releases to be related to Rebels or tune new films.

The most interesting thing in that article is that there is apparently a B-Wing Mark II that the Resistance uses.

Meh, sure id like a preview but to be honest, Xwing has gotten a TON of new stuff these past months.

We're just kind of spoiled right now.

I think we might just get a bunch of release announcements before the next non-Rebellion preview. A bunch of stuff was shipping last week.

For looks of course!

You'll still play the card board tokens and have the asteroids with stands placed on top of them. They look awesome.

They do get in the way a bit and if you over lap you have to pick up the asteroid; but the Falcon and Shuttle wings get in the way too. Besides we are playing a miniature game that could solely be played with cardboard. But we like to cool looking miniature.
