The silence of FFG is likely due to an awesome announcement of new TFA products for X-wing... ACCESSORIES.
I hope it's NOT Battle of Jakku playmats. But other TFA accessories are probably coming. Maybe they finally made some acrylic tokens, templates and rulers with the new movie graphics for us to buy. And we will buy.

Is it just me are or things getting more wonky the closer we get to Dec 18th?? as far as release dates news etc. its like they are purposely stalling or something...
Of the ten most recent news articles on the main page, nine are previews for Star Wars products, but none of them are for X-Wing. They're doing it on purpose now.

Since I'm sure no one really reads all 25+ pages of the thread, I'll repost this.
The FFG employee running the Twitch chat feed during Worlds gave an interesting answer when I asked, directly, when would we see another Wave 8 preview. They said that everything posted needs to get approved by LFL before they can put it up, thus the delay. They're super excited for Wave 8 and *want* to talk about it, but can't.
I'd bet this is still what's going on. LFL is apparently so back-logged with license approval requests that FFG can't get their stuff done fast enough.
This process took several weeks previously as I had an article that was about six weeks from submission before it went live on the site for the LCG. I am sure as Force Awakens gets closer it is going to take that much longer.

Yeah gonna say no news updates whatsoever yesterday was...unusual. Something is definitely askew; I hope we hear soon what it is.
It feels like we've been waiting forever. If it's related to the new film and embargoes associated with that then why not just preview something that isn't from the T-70 or TIE FO? It's making me think that everything is just going to end up being mega late again. Wave 8 for Q2 2016?

Because LFL approves EVERYTHING. It isn't just Ep VII spoilers they worry about. However, the existence of Episode VII means there is a lot more in the "everything" bucket to approve.
Still, it double sucks if it is LFL holding this stuff up because Armada/Imperial Assault/RPG/LCG articles are still getting through.

But ya, this thread is all in fun for the most of us. I don't think this reflects the majority of our true feelings. If we get no news at all before the product comes out, I would be fine with that as long as the final product is the top quality we are used to. For me this thread has just kind of become a running joke considering Mu0n posted this, what, over 2 months ago? It's hilarious to see the outcry continue to go unheard.

No it would depend on the order articles were submitted by ffg marketing and what other companies submitted too.
