It's an unfortunate possibility but I'm hoping we get some Gozanti goodness today and some sort of Wave VIII tease from Worlds.

Not likely. Foldy wings are not feasible and the model of the Ghost seemed to show the shuttle already in its docked position. (Probably because the empty cavity would be difficult to model.

Also, I propose that we all pronounce "The Phantom" with a long E sound to differentiate from Tie Phantoms. Think "The" Ohio State University.

I am getting more confident in the idea that there is a licensing or production/distribution snafu.

Nothing else makes sense. They aren't even promoting WORLDS with articles leading up to it. We shouldn't be able to look at their webpages at all without getting advertised to.

Another issue might be that they finally fired the people writing the aweful and error filled articles we've been getting and havnt found a suitable replacement with everyone's plate filled for worlds prep. I actually like that idea way more than mouse interference causing setbacks to production/etc...

I assume you were just being funny here, but anyone looking for this type of news is looking for very, very different things in a preview than I am. Whether or not a model can attach/go inside another model would be even more pointless news than knowing I can soon buy bases and pegs that have colors.

I guess news of plastic dials has me excited now that I think about it. Especially since they appear to be modeled faces. A base coat and some paint will make some cool as all get out battlefield bling.

Pretty much, but along the lines of during a Ghost preview along with cards, dial, etc etc they finally got the production model to do that. I don't have any real expectations of that but it would be freaking cool.

The preview of the SC2-M Repulsor Tank is pretty sweet. For IA players. Like me.

Return to Hoth (for Imperial Assault) was announced at exactly the same time as the Gozanti and Wave 8, and we got the first preview article for Return to Hoth today. Given that it has been at the printer longer than Wave 8 and is less complicated to make (some Wave 8 models were still unpainted prototypes at Essen in October), it will probably be out sooner than new X-Wing stuff. If it's previews are just starting now, the wait for X-Wing previews seems reasonable, even if it is a little frustrating.

Even a little more interesting. There is another wave of IA that was announced BEFORE Return to Hoth and is blisters. We haven't seen any additional previews for that wave; they went straight to RTH.

Worlds starts tomorrow. Could be they have been saving some announcements for that.

Hope springs eternal! I'm getting withdrawal symptoms without shiny new plastic toys to buy and preview articles to drool over.

Really hoping that Worlds is when they start pouring the glorious previews on us.

We might get something for the Gozanti. FFG has tended to run the ship-by-ship previews and wave overview/tactics articles weekly in the month leading up to release. With Wave 8 not even on the boat yet, it might be a bit early for that.

But the Gozanti... that's on the boat, and could well be in the stores for Christmas.

And there's always the possibility we might see something else. Something we haven't seen yet.

I'm also crossing my fingers for an advance release at Worlds of the Gozanti. I'll be hoping/counting for someone to provide 100% of the information on the damage cards (and their back graphics), dials, upgrade cards.
