Hi all as the title says the characters from the GM tool kit are they useable as I managed to get a copy of it mostly for the screen but of the 20 characters presented are they any good or worth handing to a player for ease or are they not even NPC worthy as in badly made or not checked properly

In my opinion they are crap for PCs, for NPC i suppose they alright.

I see were they badly made or incorrectly made just not optimised or heavens over done ?

Poorly made, I mean my first players made better characters then those. And looking bk on those first characters they made they weren't that great either. If you really are tough on your players and use everything in that starter mission, honestly I can't see them surviving if you were to use those pre-made characters.
