I've already seen a nice crack in my Slave One lower peg that needs some superglue to keep together.
You can contact FFG Support and get pegs for free, same for bases. just give them the amount you need to replace them.

I haven't broken them yet, but would be more willing to attempt magnets if I know I can revert back if I fail.
FFG Tokens & Templates - absolutely YES
As to the argument that it impinges on competitive play support, make those different and better. I just want official tokens that don't wear out like cardboard/paper, and don't want to have to pay $10 a token on ebay because I don't live in an area that supports competitive play.

Yes, the tournament prize ones should still say champion on them but themed or plain official ones would be awsome
FFG has already stated before they do not wish to make their own acrylic tokens but would rather have 3rd parties make them. With the exception of small batches for tournament rewards. The cost of making and maintaining an inventory of them was not considered worth it.

I'm aware. Not expecting this to influence any FFG decisions. Just saw the topic being discussed in another thread and wanted to perform this experiment to appease my own curiosity, if anything.

No. I found some amazing ones on these very forums for a fantastic price. I got the ones in the thread called ACRYLIC HOTNESS and love 'em. They were the same or cheaper than all the US options that are all boring monochromatic.

To answer the question, no. Nothing wrong with the 3rd party stuff, and it would degrade from the prizes. If FFG switched their prize support to something other than acrylic replacements, then sure...but that's a different story.
Even from this small sample, it appears there is a fairly even split near the middle for and against FFG doing acrylics for sale! So said, it appears some of the no's wouldnt mind if there were other prizes or special acrylics as prizes if they sold regular acrylics.
Profit margin would be the only real holdup to FFG selling acrylics is what Im seeing! Gee, isnt that the MAIN REASON for all business in the end, profits! If a business isnt making money, they wont survive.
