It's a period of civil war. Rebel troops, striking from a hidden base in Brisbane, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire.
During the battle, rebel tournament organisers managed to steal the secret plans to the Empire's ultimate weapon, the NATIONAL EVENT, an event so prestigious it could draw players from as far away as other states.
Pursuaded by the Empire's sinister agents, Prince Toby races about frantically trying to organise the best Star Wars National event anyone has ever seen so that he can save the people and restore freedom to the galaxy....
We are very pleased to announce that
GUF Brisbane
will be hosting the 2015 Australian Star Wars LCG National Event on Saturday the 12th of September.
We are working very hard to make this the very best Star Wars National event that has ever been run.
Aside from the main event itself we will also be running a number of side activities and events to ensure you enjoy your time with us.
- Complimentary tea and coffee for event participants. Chewy Chewy Cookies will also be available.
- Gaming consoles with Star Wars themed games to enjoy while you wait for the next round.
- Star Wars soundtracks played during events (at appropriate volume).
- Star Wars movie on the big projector after the main event. Feel free to stick around, relax, grab some food and enjoy the film.
- A 'Season One' Game Night Kit side event that begins when the top cut of the main event begins. $5 Entry. 3 Rounds of Swiss. Prizes to be drafted.
- Other Star Wars themed activities including Star Wars Armada, Imperial Armada and X-Wing. Feel free to bring your own. Star Wars RPG perhaps?

WHEN - Saturday September 12th. Registration from 10:00am to 10:45 am. Event begins 11:00am.

For those traveling inter-state GUF Brisbane is located in Fortitude Valley, an area teaming with night life activity.
Plenty of food options, both take-away and dine-in and a wealth of bars, nightclubs and the like.
The store is very close to the Fortitude Valley train station making it easily accessible from the airport and accommodation.
Customers are more than welcome to bring their own food and drink into the venue, we simply ask you clean up after yourself.
GUF Brisbane is also, largely, an internet cafe with some 50 or more gaming PC's available for use.
