Added Dark Hold mutants, will be breaking them out during my session tomorrow, so I will see if it needs tweaking.
BESTIARY book
Mutants nearly got away with it. They dragged the party face through a doorway and almost closed the door, but an NPC Arbitrator managed to get through in time and beat the muties senseless.
Stupid Pursuit of Justice trait...
Oh well, they functioned as intended.
Nice to see the field testing when as expected. I wonder if the subjects will ever realize what was going on. (ps: intended as a joke)
My wendigo will be the prominent monster in my next mission acolytes will be sent in. It will be themed more with horror than anything else, hence the devouring stats that make players in grave danger if they fail fear tests or get into a grapple with the monster.
My objective is that they flee it, unless they get a good plan or suffers while fighting it.
I really like the Dark Hold mutants! Going to use them for Port Aquila, they will be tasked by the Governor to hunt them in exchange for her help tracking their big bad. Could be a fun little side quest/dungeon delve!
To see if we can't get this thing started again I would say that the Wendigo sounds like a pretty freaky creatures and I like that, as far as I can see, it isn't just a daemon but something else in service to Grandfather Nurgle. I will probably use it as I see its use as a kind of emissary from the Lord of Decay to a Nurglitch cult which throws a hex on the Acolytes and so ties the Wendigo to stalk the PCs until they can either destroy it or find a way to break the hex.
Added my Manufactorum Guardian Servitor. ^.^
I'll be trying her out on Wednesday, so I'll report back as to how it played out after then!
Wendigo was thought as some sort of daemon, but a more horror oriented one that the "wanton destruction" of those we generally get.
I like to see the Warp as an horrible and incomprehensible place and so my monsters from there tend to be horrible in the extreme.
