Is such a combo legal?

By Seagrams, in Rules Questions

A player kneels Queen of Thorns to declare an int challenge, the other player before declaring defenders plays Seen in Flames Event, looks at opponents hand and then decides if wants to oppose/defend etc (after checking if that player has a 5 cost Tyrell character in hand)

It would be really helpful if you could post the text on the cards when asking a question such as this that depends so much on the exact wording of the abilities. Saves those of us who were not at Gencon and don't have cards yet from having to hunt through the spoilers.

QoT: " Reaction: After you win an [intrigue] challenge in which The Queen of Thorns is participating, put a [Tyrell] character with printed cost 6 or lower into play from your hand."

Seen In Flames: " Challenges Action: Choose an opponent, and look at his or her hand. Then, choose and discard 1 card from that hand."

There is a player action window between the attacking player declaring attackers and the defending player declaring defenders. So the defender would have the opportunity to play the event and look at the attacker's hand before deciding whether to defend. There is nothing illegal about the defender using that opportunity to gather more information before making decisions about defending - Just like it there would be nothing illegal about the attacker using this opportunity - or the one between declaring defenders and resolving the challenge - to draw cards or otherwise get more characters into his hand before triggering QoT's reaction (assuming they win).

thanx for your answer
