I'd say its "Ashcan" Pete, but if they do split the sexes, I will guess Wendy Adams.
Eldritch Horror: Under the Pyramids
Hmm.. I don't have time to check at the moment, but I thought that matched up with Monterey Jack's investigator card image prety closely.
Also, at least two new conditions (judging from the Preview-Encounters):
Despair and Hallucination. Despair will, most likely, be a Bane-Condition, while Hallucination belongs to the Madness-Category.

Monterey Jack has been officially previewed, in the same article, and it's a different art.

We already have Hallucination.
From what I saw, 2 new conditions will be Despair and Haunted.
2 Things I really, really, really hope this Expansion will include:
- 3 Gate-Tokens for the remaining Expedition-Spaces.
- Additional Encounter-Cards for Wilderness-Expedition-Spaces. That one Card, that's being displayed in the Preview, is definetely a City-Expedition; I don't care for those too much, but now that they've started doing them, I'm okay with finishing it. I just would love to see some variety for Default-Expeditions, because 4 cards each isn't that much..
Edited by diceman2k4I think I managed to decipher Mandy's textbox.
Action: Draw 2 Clues from the Clue pool. Spawn one of them and discard the other.
After resolving a Research Encounter if you gained (illegible, propably "exactly", possibly "at least") 1 Clue from that encounter, gain 1 additional Clue.
Im a bit wondwe why we have sush a little expand of Other world encounter? We changed decks from game to game but one never change abd most used deck is Other worlds! Doesn't matter what game you play, you always used other world deck! It is quite big but after 2 years I know all cards by the heart! We have around 50 new mythos card in last 2 expansions and maybe only 12 new otherw world cards. We definitely need more!
New Mythos come to enhance expansion's main mechanics (as well as new encounters and so on). Plus you need to consider that we have three difficulty levels for Mythos and three type of Mythos, so that even with a low card count, let's say you add two cards / type / difficulty level, the deck grows quickly (2*3*3 it's 18 cards just to add the minimum variety). OWs grow at a slower pace, more or less like all the other encounter decks.
What really bums me (dunno for UtP, but it was certainly a turn off for SR) is that the adventure deck grew skinnier, hence, a hugely lower replayability
Don't really understand the adventure deck. In MoM I played it once and when I finished the last card it didn't give me anything. Just "complete this adventure"... That's it. Go home.
It was frustrating because I played with 2 investigators and I put one on the adventure only, hoping for a big reward. I haven't read the other cards, but based on my first experience they should rather use these card sources to give us more city encounters or even other world cards.
Or, they could just mix them with the prelude cards and give a second card for the prelude or even a third one that you can read at a certain point (like when doom goes 8 etc.), and you can get the whole picture.

??? All stage 3 adventures coming with MoM have the specific reward of advancing the active mystery by 1. Are you sure you've read the whole card? It's written on the bottom of the right column

As far as I know, no expedition cards have been previewed. I assume the card you are talking about is the one with a rope, pickaxe, and statue on the back. That is an adventure card.
Thanks for deciphering.
Yes, I thought that had to be an City-Expedition.
So there's still hope.
Or Jenny Barnes. Reckoning: Jenny gains a Funding condition.
Thematically correct, but improbable: Fundings appeared in MoM, and it's rather unlikely that an investigator appearing in expansion D needs components from expansion B (and I don't think there will be more Funding conditions in the new one)
Funding is a real nice counterpart for Debt, and I hope they'll reprint it sooner or later.
Well, we have a precedent now. Strange Remnants has another 3 copies of "Sealing the Old Ones" unique asset, bringing the total to 6 copies.
They might have created a new task, but they chose to add additional copies to an existing one. Now the comeback of Funding appears much more likely.
In case it's unclear what I'm happy about:
Every expansion up to date added new versions to an existing two-sided cards.
But all those cards originated from the core game.
For the first time, they added new versions to a card that came with an expansion.

In case anyone's interested.
The eighth investigator appears to be Rex Murphy.
The Arkham Nights 2015 slider features a very similar character:

I saw that! I always wanted a game in which Rex Murphy was usable! He is an interesting investigator, but that whole starts cursed business in Arkham made me avoid him consistently.
Mandy has got Rex's original skill (Extra clues) so I wonder what they are going to give him.
Maybe a simple "
Action: Gain 1 clue.
" and a passive "
When resolving a test, each 1 you roll negates 1 success
" to balance that.
That would reflect on the fact that he is cursed without giving him Cursed condition outright.
I'm expecting him to be cursed here as well, and as everything in Eldritch, I'm expecting his curse to be heavier than in Arkham, but also that a greater benefit comes from his special ability. ..
It might not be curse but a new bane card he receives.
There's a new Haunted condition in the expansion - if he doesn't start Cursed he might start with Haunted? Kind of fits in with the 'Family Curse' from Arkham.
Edit: from what's visible in the preview, the Haunted condition reads 'if you would gain a blessed condition or improve [any skill? A specific skill?], you may discard this card [instead?]. That ties in with the Arkham ability, where he can only discard his curse by being blessed. Perhaps they decided to go with Haunted for him (assuming he is indeed in the expansion) rather than Cursed. Perhaps Cursed was thought too debilitating, or his character sheet interacts with the Haunted to make it worse? (Those dastardly Lovecraftian designers.)
Edited by HeliconJust an update from another thread:
Apparently Rex's action is that he can take any items from the reserve with total value that is less than his current influence.
His passive is that he is cursed and if Rex is ever without a curse, he gains
1 skill improvement, 1 clue and a curse.
Also, he appears to have a total of 14 health/sanity points as opposed to the usual 12. He is a 7/7 investigator. Precedent set!
Wanted to put it here.
