Never had a cube but I often find myself reminiscing about X-Wing for the PC. Endless fun! Feeling like a boss destroying whole Imperial fleets single-handedly!

You can get X-Wing for the PC at GOG.com for a few bucks. It does not hold up well though.

X-Wing Alliance is the only thing that remotely holds up, and the vanilla is just barely playable. Fortunately there is still an active modding community for that game. If you still have XWA lying around you should check out these sites:
