Tonight I was touching up some detail on N'dru.

By now I've seen repaints of all of Wave 7 except for one ship.
Unless a Gencon attendee takes it upon themselves to paint a K-Wing and show us photos,
My repaint might end up being the first one
Pending widespread release next week.
Depends on when I can get my hands on one, Stack!
I was wondering where this thread fell to!
Bump!
That pup looks great!
I couldn't wait for the new ships so I came up with these.
Most recent repaint:
Finished the Rebels TIE!
Group shot of everything I've done so far:
My raider is coming along, all that grey was just crying out for some paint
Just a subtle repaint on the K-Wing,as I like the current scheme.
My wife painted this scummy/greasy z-95 for me. I like it and so does N'dru.
Edit: Finally managed to get the actual photo in. That was not easy...
Dammit, i've got to do 'pup' now.
I was going to buy a FOURTH most wanted to do two Bynares Pirates but now i'm ging to have to buy that and a single Z95 to do as the pup....
That and i'm going to have to repaint my Khiraxz's to match my M3as.
Please FFG stop doing scum ships in that really kakky looking olive and purple. Great look for a ground attack fighter, looks really out of place with every other ship.
That K wing looks great too BTW.
Added a bit more colour to my K-Wing.
Rebel Bomber flight.
I've finally made a breakthrough regarding my recent bought of depression (and frustration with these tiny, fiddly models!), so I'll throw my hat in as well!
Still very much WIP, but yeah.
Fun with Phantoms - WIP:

Alllllrighty. I decided to make a trip to Target and pick up the new Core set today, because clearly I can not control my spending habits when it comes to these tiny awesome ships. Also; apparently I can not own a miniature for more than a day without pulling out my paints and brushes, as the core ships didnt even last two hours. For now though, I only touched one of the First Order TIEs.
As some background, Friday I took another trip to Walmart to buy whatever else the hell I wanted Star Wars related (
) and picked up one of these guys; a Hot Wheels TIE/fo
Pretty sweet in and of itself. But when I pulled out the TIEs from the new core, I immeditately knew I'd want to make them easy to distinguish while being played, and the Hot Wheels TIE was the perfect choice. A quick few minutes with some red paint, and I have a new TIE that looks like its bigger brother.
Now clearly the Hot Wheels one is another of the special forces TIEs (or so it seems) as it has the antenna, and the back of the cockpit is different from the TIE/ln as well, showing signs of a rear viewport and having its namesake engines shifted out a bit towards the wing panels. But who cares? The two look almost identical from even a short distance away besides the antenna and scale, so im more than happy.
I touched up the new T-70 X wing to look like the one JJ was next to when he originally revealed the T-70. I felt the original paintjob was close enough to where I only needed to weather it up a bit and do a couple washes and metallics. If they ever release expansion packs I plan on doing subtle variety to mark out the different pilots.
