*really* nice paintjobs. Im envious :)

Haven't touched a brush in a year. The Jumpmaster has such an awesome paint scheme, but it felt a little flat. I've spent an hour on it so far, only touched up the khaki parts and the windows, but dang! Already such a big difference. Next up will be the red and engine glows, and maybe a bit more weathering

The one on the right is still in the stock paintjob for reference. Let me know what you think!

Everyone is posting such great stuff. Talented people in here.

Got my Tel Trevura JumpMaster repaint done tonight.

My first Wave 8 repaint - a G1-A, which also features in my fortnightly RPG (stolen and then heavily modified by our resident Gand Findsman)

Nothing fancy, just a quick and dirty upgrade to the dial upgrades. Only have Imperial ones thus far. I will be doing something to the Rebel and Scum ones, eventually.

Been trying to come up with a paint scheme for my 2nd G1-A. I was unsure how grey would look, but you did a good job here. I like the stains running down the side. Gives it a nice dirty scummy vibe. I might now try a similar job (but without the waves on the nose, my freehand is not up to that)

@Eisai

I'm using your blood stripe idea, that's brilliant.

Really that rust/oil stains running down the sides is I feel typical of the Star Wars 'used universe' look. Most ships, aside from the Imperials and the posh yachts and liners of the rich and fabulous, are old and/or have passed through many hands. In a lot of cases, the ships are passed down through family almost like family heirlooms, much like some classic cars are passed to the next generation of the family. Only in this case, the family are probably still trying to pay the **** space vessel off!! lol

I hadn't considered the idea of painting them, they are incredibly flat as-is. Great idea, may have to do mine too.

The rate ships change hands in our RPG campaign, I don't think anything stays with the same owner long enough to count as a family heirloom ;) The endless cycle of theft, narrow escapes, sabotage and eventual loss of the ships to previous owners doesn't leave a whole lot of time for maintenance, though... I do prefer the beaten up, battle-scarred look for my ships - ideally, they should look like they get plenty of use, and shouldn't look out of place landing in Mos Eisley.

The clean look is amazing for those with the patience to pull it off (MacrossVF1's ships are spectacular) - I paint in that style on larger scale figures, but always tend to go back to the heavily weathered look for Star Wars ships.

Well Macross....your certainly living up to your name.

Well done Ken.

I'm not a fan of the T70

But your Macross repaint looks Bloody Fantastic!!!

Very impressive.

And in some ways it changes the look of the model slightly into a better looking model.

I'm impressed by how neat your painting style is.

Especially on such a small model.

Well done.

All the best.

If Rebels had this ship in there arsenal....That's how it would look !

Great job on the repaint.

It's certainly a different approach to painting this model than most.

Well done.

All the best.

Barry.

Hello Guys.

A few more Modifications of my Scum fleet.

A Ywing with a wider body and heavy 360' turret and Z95 Wingman.

Star Viper with reshaped wings and a HWK 290 with a

bird like wing area.

They aren't finished yet. still have a bit of retouching and glossing the windows and engine glow.

I will post more photos soon.

So is the plan to swap these around with every list you build, or to buy enough of the for your entire collection?

Those are some poopy brown toilet seats.

Multipass!!!

The shape of this thing made me think of 5th element.

The aurebesh is 'B90'. Inspired by the colors and markings of Dallas korbens flying taxi cab.
