Nothing about this ship makes any sense to me.there's pictures online of those wing things pointing in every direction.
To me..it works as a scavenger ship of some sort...grabbing and manipulating various junk ships.

I agree. At least that is how it looks.

I blame the Star Wars CCG from the late 90s early 2000s for screwing me up all the time with that ship. the CCG had an IG-2000 card that was looking at the back of the ship, which I always assumed was the front.
So now? anytime I fly against it, at least once I will think the **** thing is pointed the other way and pay a heavy price for it.
Finished up two ywings for my rebels. Here's some pics with the squad that I flew them with at store championship last weekend.
No pictures panz3r!?

Brobots in Disguise:
Hi guys. Here is a WIP state of my first X-Wing repaint. Of course its Poe because i'm going to play him at a tournament ;-)
Update:
Newest updated version with BB-8 ready:
I'm not feeling confident enough to repaint original ships, so I'm training on 3D printed models again:
I like very much this model (free on thinkgiverse), but my background color is really ugly.
Many thanks for this post , .... now I have to find a way to print on cardboard.

Work in progress, still needing some clean-up. A bit stuck, I am not good a highlighting - any tips?
(And please keep in mind, these are macro pics, showing all the flaws a lot more directly, the human eye looking at them in reality is a lot more forgiving)
B wing Ace:
I like what you have done with these. The scorpions look fantastic!
Washes and dry brushing are good ways to get quick contrasts on your ships.
Washes can also help to smooth out the transitions too.
Decimator repaint for my Cousin, for his first Store Championship (he made it through to the top 32 of the event and got his C3-PO !)
Love the Blood Stripes and Imperial symbol!
The Imperial symbol was from a adhesive stencil I got off of Ebay, worked pretty well, just had to be careful of overspray with the airbrush...
For the stripes I used some Tamiya modelling tape, so about 1cm in width.. then just some handy cardboard to shield the model from overspray..
All paints were from the Vallejo air range, and then a little GW Nuln Oil in the cracks for a bit of depth.
Just got this wrapped up last night. It's a WWII inspired punisher. I'm waiting for the nose art decals to arrive.

Looks too big for an X-wing hull, but would work on a custom B-wing or HWK...
Just did another one.

Do you have a blog or something where we can see more pics of these Y-Wnigs and T-70? They're supreme!
Finally getting around to posting some of the ships I've painted. Still new to painting minis but its coming along.
Thanks to everyone else posting paint jobs in the thread, very fun to look at all the different works.
Ciao !
Here's my first Otana 3D printed.
The model was tremendously hairy and wrinkled...
I'll try to do better with the second one, better printed.
