Haven't been doing any repaints for a while up until last week,
where I finally got round to Starting my Imperial collection.
Started with Repainting all of my Ace's........
Conversion of the Tie Advanced (as I wasn't a fan of the way the original looked),
so I have called this one Tie Adv Experimental Mk2......
Tie Phantom Conversion.
Wanted something that looked a little more aggressive......
And I Modified Tie into a Tie Adv with inverted solar/wing......
Here's to keeping some form of the Paint Forum Alive !

A subtle decimator repaint. Mainly wanted the panels to pop more.

I'm not a painter myself (hoping to change that soonish, a long learning road ahead!) But I do love painted ships - this thread is amazing and I'm glad it is around. I've commissioned a few ships from various artists and bought others off ebay and if it's alright I'd like to display their work here:
albertcooper68 is one artist who I found through ebay who does seem really neat work with LEDs, and he is quite a talented painter as well! Here is a Millenium Falcon he did:
and a Decimator as well!
(A little hard to tell but there are LED lights on either side of the bridge)
revolverhelden_19 is another ebay user who painted up this Decimator rather quite well I thought. I especially love the red stripe placement!
rik_biel is a really excellent artist I've been working with in Australia who I was able to commission a whole slew of TIEs from. Here's a brief selection:

When I saw this first earlier I was like "Holy crap, I painted an A-Wing EXACTLY like that..." Definitely weird to see it on the forums... Nice pictures, those Z-95s are just really unbelievable...

There's an option in your reply options to post a link to a photo... So click on it, cut the link to where your pictures are, paste it in the box, and you should be good to go...
