Hi,
So this past weekend my group of friends played E.H. twice.
We laughed about our devoution and wanted to posted a suggestion for E.H. gaming fans for the condition . . . "Deja Vu".
Fits well into the siutation doesn't it?
Stay Sane!

new condition "Butter wouldn't melt" for all those solo players resisting the urge to alter that one dice roll. I still haven't beat shug yet but if mark had gained that last clue I would of won.
You know what I'd REALLY like to see? A "Metamorphosis"-Condition!
You know, a lot of Lovecraft-Stories have people in them, who slowly change over time, like in "Shadow over Innsmouth", or poor Wilbur Whately. The front effect could be the same for every Condition, maybe an Influence-Impairment-Tokens (people fear you now, or feal uneasy around you, so naturally making deals is getting harder for you), and something more severe on the backside, where you actually learn what you are changing into (when failing a Willpower-Test during Reckoning). Like, you grow webbed fingers and feel attracted to to the sea - lose 1 Sanity, and move to the nearest Ocean-Space / 1 space towards the nearest Ocean-Space / to a random Ocean-Space.
And when doing a Focus-Actions, you may roll a die and discard the Metamorphosis on a 4,5 or 6.
Or something like that. ![]()

We do have something like that.
Some of the condition backs feature a change to different creature. Hint: You choose a new investigator, as the previous one is no longer playable.
Offtopic: Am I surprised that the spoiler tags worked. Can someone point me to a cheatsheet with formatting codes for this forum?
Edited by tsuma534One of the Curse reckoning effect make you Deepone and you go in the sea. So basically devour.
Metamorphosis:
You need to rest and get a 6 to take it out.
Reckoning: Lose 1 point of your highest stat and gain 1 on your lowest (You can choose if there's a tie)
It all goes away once you take the condition out. Also, to know how many times you have changed, you get 1 eldritch token every reckoning.
Metamorphosis:
-1 for all tests as you slowly change
For your next attack str = monsters toughness with no modifiers then discard
Reckoning you turn into a cocoon and emerge some hours later unchanged but strangely weakened lose 3 health and discard
