I have one question.

During the very first spawning at the void lock during setup, you take the top card of the event deck and use the major/minor spawn indicators. But do you also have to use the movement indication on this card (if applicable to the spawned genestealers)? Or does the first spawning only happens at terrain cards.

During the very first spawning at the void lock during setup, you take the top card of the event deck and use the major/minor spawn indicators. But do you also have to use the movement indication on this card (if applicable to the spawned genestealers)? Or does the first spawning only happens at terrain cards.

You just spawn the required number of Genestealers on the appropriate terrain cards. Ignore everything else on that first event card, including movement icons.

8. Spawn Starting Genestealers : Draw the top card of the Event deck, and spawn Genestealers as listed on the activation area of the card. (see "Spawning Genestealers" on page 21.) All other information on this card is ignored . Then discard this card.
