I'm getting ready to GM RT for the first time and right away I'v run into some odd nomenclature in the book.

For the Exceptional Leader ability the book says "grand an ally that he can see and who can hear him +10% to any one test."

Does the +10% actually mean just +10 to the test? Or is it actually 10% of the target (say a WS of 30 + Skill of 10 = Target of 40 + 10% = final target of 44)?

+10, not 10% of the base. They do try to keep some thing's simple.

Ok, that is what I was thinking. It was just the "%" that was throwing me off as I dont see that anywhere else.

well stats are a % of 100 anyway, so 10% is 10 etc.

Actually, +10% would indeed be +4 (if the value of the skill is 40) and 10 percentage points are +10, just to be a bit finical...

It's plus ten percentiles , which unfortunately uses the same symbol as percent.
