Hi all, I am brand new to this forum and to x-wing itself so firstly I would like to say Hi.

I have been looking around the internet to find what I want to buy for my first list and many of my mates have the core game already so I want to start off with a 100pts to get things up and running.

I seem to be drawn to 2 ship lists which I have no idea if they are any good or not or a list which is highly elite and small.

Can anyone point me in the right direction and give advice on the type of lists I am looking for. I have not picked a faction yet so anything is possible at this stage.

Chirneau Fel seems to be popular, as does Horn and Dash and for Scum Robros seems good IG 88-B and D

Good thing we're in a 2 Ship meta then...the common 2 ship builds are 2 IG-88s, 1IG and a Firespray, Decimator and Soontir, Dash and Corran

If you're new just a word of caution about a lot of two ship builds you'll see: most of them actually take more that two ships to build once you factor in all the upgrades the ships may be using.

Hi again, thanks for the input. I went out and spent my money on the YT-2400. Loving the model and I was thinking of getting the YT-1300 to pair up.

What do you guys think of that combo or would you suggest another ship?

A common buddy for the YT-2400 is Corran Horn in an E-wing. I'd also consider picking up an A-wing for Push the limit, Rebel Aces for Kyle Katarn or a HWK for Recon Specialist.

If you just pick up a YT-1300, you can build this, for a tanky list with some punch:

Chewbacca (42)
Gunner (5)
Engine Upgrade (4)
Millennium Falcon (1)

"Leebo" (34)
Determination (1)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)
Nien Nunb (1)
Outrider (5)

Total: 100
