Accounts of Black Crusades using Tome of Decay rules?

I'm curious if anyone has played or run a black crusade using the Tome of Decay rules. On paper, they look like they might make for a cool wargame. Do the rules work?

I noticed I forgot the points values for starships, but they're pretty easy to fit to whatever specs you like, since by and large, they're equivalent to ground based forces (BFG and 40k TT are fairly similar); infantry/fighters, scout craft/scout ships, etc.. I can include them if you like. For actual space battles, we used BFG. Boarding actions and such where we were personally involved were RP'd out properly, though.
