Besides making the fabulous 100th post (in a thread I started!), I guess I am wondering if I can play Talisman this weekend, one last time, before The Harbinger?

We have a game scheduled for Sunday. Was actually hoping to get the Harbinger in time for it, but alas that will not be happening :(

Still, a Sunday with Talisman is better than a Sunday without!

I played the Harbinger expansion tonight with my regular group. We generally use every expansion with the exception of the Dragon. We all agree that it is possibly our favorite small box yet. We gave the rules a cursory review, shuffled in the new characters and away we went. It was a great session.

Can some one tell me the 4 different Omens, I thought in the rules there would be someway of generating which one you will play with but it seems the players just choose.. "Oh its the End of Time, ok now what impending doom do you prefer" hehehe

After reading the rules this is interesting :

Enemies from the Harbinger deck must be taken as trophies when defeated

That's because the base rules say you "may" take Enemies as trophies, but who wouldn't?

Those who realize with The Harbinger expansion that sometimes, having trophies is bad. :)

So now, it's mandatory. No legal loopholes allowed.

Ah then no wonder they put it in there a lot of loop-holing going on.

Ok so I have two of the four types of Omens one is The Stars Align the other is Uncertain Ground I think the other 2 are Rise of the Dead and Time of Judgement can anyone confirm this.. OMG I could just wait for my set to come.... I said could wait...

Oooohhhh, its gonna be punishing. Gotta admit I was disappointed with the Possessed abilities. He looks so awesome.
