Wow, that doesnt only round up the campaign feel but is actually pretty helpful. Just recalled the story of our trollfens sidequest a few adventures back (which means a month ago in our group)! Nice!
Unofficial Campaign Tracker for Descent!
Yep
Right now there are texts for Lair of the Wyrm, Trollfens, a few quests from Shadow Rune and a few from Heirs of Blood The rest is still being worked on
A small bug: just played an act II rumour, encountered a treasure chest - however in the details only act I items were available for selection... Any way you could add the found actII item (bow of sky)? Would be awesome! ID 47925394
Thanks!
Minor bug found:
While playing Heirs of Blood yesterday I noticed that Siege of Skytower lists Lord Merick Farrow as one of the selected monsters. Should that not be Sir Alric Farrow instead?
I'll sort it out as soon as possible
I don't know if this has been brought up before or if there is a reason for it but...
Is there a way you can switch Add Items and Skills around? Skills happens before shopping for items.
We played a campaign this weekend, and it was a bit of a pain to have to wait to enter in skills until after the actual shopping step.
It would be better if you could fill in things as you went along.
On other little complaint I had was the travel step. It is a bit time consuming to try and match up the flavor text, especially since it is not exactly the same.
Could you add in maybe the card number with the flavor text. I'm pretty sure they all have one. like a 1/10 or something.
Your tool is becoming better and better with every update.
I just noticed, that even on the Shadow Rune campaign (base game), at least the Act II quests are connected. The tool only allows specific quests to be selected, because "you played this and this quest". I couldn't find these constraints in the rulebook or the quest book. Where did you find them? (They seem logical, as why would we play 2 quests, which both rewards the same relic.)
I know, that most of the expansions have these. But not the base game.
Thanks for your work!

On page 21 in the rulebook:)
I have a suggestion and if it is there I will feel dumb...but here you go. When you continue the campaign, it would awesome if it listed the cards that have been purchased and earned. That way when my group returns to continue, we know what to grab on setup.

From Errata 1.6: Page 20 and 24, “The Campaign Phase”: The “Shopping” step should occur before the “Spend Experience Points” step; “Shopping” is step 4, and “Spend Experience Points” is step 5.

It should be an excerpt of the flavour text so it shouldn't be too different from the actual text, but I'll see if I can add a card number like suggested. (Though that might be a bit difficult, because there is a 1/X for each expansion that includes travel cards.)

For The Shadow Rune, act II quests can be selected depending on the winner of the related act I quest. All quest that weren't played in act I are considered won by the Overlord, and so only the quests matching an overlord victory will be available for those. If you think a quest should be available, but isn't, then let me know.

It's not available yet, but it is something that is planned. The closest option you have now it to just check every hero's inventory, by clicking on their picture at the top.

Wow totally missed that. Or I ignored it.
It always made sense to me to do it the other way around. Heroes had to pick skills before the items so they didn't pick skills based on the items they got.
Thanks.
Not sure if this has been requested already, but it would be really nice if on the stats overview pages (where we can see the win percentages for each quest in a campaign) we could see the total number of quests the stats are being calculated from. As I'm sure you appreciate, 3/5 wins is very different than 30/50. Thanks!
Edited by ZaltyreIt does show this on the quest stats page. (though not on other pages where the progressbar is used, it would get too cluttered)
Example:
First Blood
Heroes: 378 Win(s)
Overlord: 51 Win(s)

Now I am curious. In the campaigns where the OL won first blood, how often did the OL win the entire campaign?

A better question: How often did the heroes bother to play any more quests after that?
Because of the 51 groups where the OL won First Blood,
only 1 group
made it to the finale, which was won by the heroes though

Hahahaha
well you could see it differently: I guess most people just use it for documenting to remember who had which skill/item/artifact and so on... so if they finish the last few missions in one session, they would probably not write the victories down.
My group (we haven't used the tracker till now... but we will for our next campaign) has a similiar situation.... the heroes have won the first blood mission and the interlude.... but nothing else so far... we only got the final quest to do in this run... and I don't think the heros stand a chance.
How do I use the "Deceitful Scribe" plot card from the Rylan Olliven plot deck? It is supposed to give the overlord 1 XP, but it doesn't seem to work.
I'll check it out, maybe i missed something!
Should be available now.
So guys, I'm working on translations for the site.
So far I found someone for German, French and Russian. If anyone wants to help out with any other official Descent translations, let me know!
Should be available now.
It worked now, but it seems you have to select that the OL used Deceitful Scribe in the Spend XP screen, and the buy from plot decks comes afterwards.
But as you buy plot cards during the spend XP step the shouldn't the OL be able to buy and use Deceitful Scribe and use that XP to buy a overlord card n the same spend XP-phase?
Edited by k7e9Not sure. But you can always reopen the skills step (by clicking on edit) after you bought it and then you should be able to use it in the same phase
Just wanted to say: Atom4geVampire I send you a privat message... if you need german translations for the tracker I am happy to help.
I can help with Spanish.
