First wanted to say I absolutely love your campaign tracker and use it all the time. Fantastic resource! Thank you very much for your hard work on this excellent tool.

Ran into a quick issue and thought I'd report it. We've started a new Heirs of Blood campaign. The Overlord won the first quest, Acolyte of Saradyn and got 2 experience points. They wanted to spend both points to buy a pair of Web Traps from the Saboteur deck. However, while this is legal, the interface only lets you check the Web Trap box once, so it is not possible to buy both at the same time.

Perhaps adding check boxes for every copy of every card would work? Or maybe a 'count' field?

The site has been out there for half a year now, so now that everyone has had a chance to try it (extensively) I'm very interested to hear what works and what could be improved.

If there is something about the site that bothers you, could be added or could be improved, please let me know

(For example, I'm thinking about reworking the homepage, because I don't think it shows the most relevant information users need).

My heroes let me incorporate my new monsters to the ongoing campaign whenever a new expansion or pack is released (they let me try my new toys as soon as I buy them as a way to encourage me to buy more ).

Don't know if this could be done, but if we could change the collection available in an ongoing campaign, it would be appreciated and the stats associated with the use of different monsters in a given mission would be more accurate as I wouldn't have to select a "fake" monster from the drop-down list.

But that's against the rules!!...

I don't know, maybe I'll allow it, it shouldn't be to hard to add i guess.

Anyway, I've just added Treaty of Champions and the 3 new lieutenant packs!

You work in this site of yours is impeccable, this make the campagin a lot more constructive and informative for the players. Amazing work Atom! Just to give you some feedback, there is some items that still do not work properly, like the Rune Plate (but I believe they are a bit complex to function as intended since its an attribute and item based). But these are things we can survive without. I'll let you know if anything can be made for the better. All I can say is: keep the awesome work !

Atom, what can I say. I think you are an amazing person for doing my favorite game much more easier to play. Your site has become for my playing group almost a necessary tool. Not only for the Overlord (easy way to know which group you have available) but also for the decision making for the heroes (win/time ratio).

One thing that may help to add to the site is to add in the monster selection if an agent was summoned, and in which monster group, if it’s not much to ask.

For some time I tried to see if a girl I know could help with the drawings to put them in the quest selection, but then I remember that it could create a legal problem by using Descent images and so on, so I left that project. However, I think now I could help you with the quest summaries from LoR, MoR, CotF, GotD and CoD; in case you still need them.

Yeah, I still need to finish that. The attribute items should be relatively easy, I'm just not sure how I'm gonna handle certain items like 'extra defense die if you have a shield equipped' (there is an item with something like that) since you can't actually equip items. I can check if you have a shield in your items, but that doesn't mean it's equipped. What do you think? Show it as long as you have a shield in your inventory?

But it's really any small problem/change I would like to know about. They don't have to be big new features, they can be just small irritations or something.

An example of something like that, that I hope to resolve in the near future, is that when you are asked to log in to the site it will take you back to the homepage, instead of whatever page your were trying to access when you were asked to log in. It should just take you to the page you were trying to go to.

Quality of life issues like that is what I'd like to know about

In the specific case of Rune plate, to use it at its maximum effectiveness, the hero need to have 4+ knowledge (for the +2 hp) and have a rune equipped (to swap the gray die for a black one). I see your concern about the issue. I believe the hero having the required item in his gear is enough for you to put the extra defense die on his stats, however, I'd put a warning in the defense pool field, something like: Note: Swap the extra "gray" defense die for a "black" defense die, if your hero has a "y" item equiped. Anyway, the Rune Plate will provide a gray die to the hero no matter what.

Yes, mostly beacuse of the stats and graphics, as I said, my group and I found your site to be more than a tracker but also a source for decision making.

As for the problems, the quest “Honor among the thieves” does not show a section of where you can select the objectives that were drawn aside from the ones need to win (for the heroes victory), so players need to add some extra search tokens to add the extra gold won from the quest.

Mmmm...about changes to the site, now that I recall, there was a topic from a fan that created also an unofficial soundtrack . Perhaps adding it to the tracker as background music could help to armonize the game, but I think an authorization should be made to FFG. I mean, it will be very very very nice, IMO, to have the tracker with music. Whenever I play, I put this songs, and more others, to set an adventure environment. Just to give you an idea.

Another thing that can be helpful is (however, I think it’s more complex) what do you think about adding a voice that narrate the story of each quest? Because, what I found is that my group and I lose too much time setting the map and then reading the story. What I do is that I have recorded some of these stories myself and I put them meanwhile I (the overlord) set the map. This because my friends found boring and disappointing sometimes to just fight without knowing what is going on (Why I need to save her, or kill this guy, or retrieve this objet) and I don’t care much of hearing the story because, as the owner of the game, I can read it whenever I want.

I don't want to annoy much beacuse I could have these ideas but I won't be the one that execute them, so...tell me want you think, and I will try to help with whatever I can.

reporting a minor bug:

actually amazed that you incorporated the "archaic scroll" option - however, the clacuation appears to go wrong, had a hero with 0 xp, using the scroll by trading in a 2xp skill, then gaining 1xp for the quest: he ended up with 5xp (instead of 3). Deleting and repeating the campaign step let to another summing up (to 7xp). Knowing that that is not a priority issue by any means, however thought i willlet you know...

Anyways, no biggie, just the fact that you actually accounted for that very special item, hats off.

Hmmn, I thought I had tested that properly. Can you give me your campaign number and tell me which hero it is that needs to be fixed, then I'll edit his xp back to normal. (To 3 right?)

Wanted to report a missing monster option. Playing Blood Will Tell in Heirs of Blood campaign, and OL played the Crow Hag monster group. The site didn't list it as an option. It's. Newer monster group from the last H&M, I figure that you haven't gotten the chance yet. If you need the stats on the new stuff, in case you haven't gotten the chance yet to pick it up, I'm happy to provide it.

Basically, my website tries to adhere as much as possible to the official rules, and the official rules state that at the start of the campaign the players decide which expansions they will be using for the campaign and add all of those tokens/cards/.. to the supply. You are not supposed to add to it afterwards. (Like in this case, if a H&M pack came out later.)

That being said, it is something people have brought up a few times ( https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/168006-unofficial-campaign-tracker-for-descent/page-13#entry2059646 ) so I will probably add an option somewhere to add extra packs to your campaign anyway.

Just a little error I noticed : In the conjurer skill selection page, it's written Prismatic Assualt 3XP.

You are right, I apologize. I thought that I had it before starting the campaign, but ToC isn't selected in my latest campaign. I agree with the rules, despite the evidence against me in this case lol; I just received Mists of Bilehall and I haven't mixed in the monsters and items yet. Waiting until I finish HoB.

I got a suggestion:

Currently, once the quest is complete (ie all encounters) it can be updated in the campaign log. I would like to see that after each encounter it can be updated.

My current play group can't always sit through multiple encounters to finish a quest out (to shame, I know. It's great that as an adult I can afford my hobbies, but no longer have the amount of time I had as a child). Some encounters rely on the outcome of the first to dictate some mechanics or the way the board is set up (how many objective tokens the OL had at the end of encounter 1 for instance). I have found myself trying to update the encounter results a couple of times.

Anyone else think this might be beneficial?

Quick bug report for ya. I'm currently doing an HoB campaign, the heroes won Siege of Skytower, yet the rewards for the quest incorrectly state that the Staff of Light relic was awarded. Regardless of the winner of this particular quest, the Overlord always receives the Staff of Shadows.

It has been asked before, but right now, I don't plan on adding it. Not because I don't think its useful, but because of the work involved.

As much as I would like to, it is just too difficult to implement. Saving a quest is relatively easy, each quest has a very limited amount of data to save, and it's more or less the same data.

Damage, OL cards played, OL cards in hand (and how to make this private?), threat tokens on plot cards, which knocked out heroes did the OL take a threat token for, which search cards were found, which ones of those were used, how many tokens of X does the OL have, how many tokens of Y do the heroes have, and so on and so on... And its different for every quest.

Thats very weird. In the database of the site its just one item with two names (cause its also one card), so you at least didn't get an incorrect item. It just weird thats it showing the hero name for and overlord item.

I got to thinking about that last night. Me taking a picture is a lot less work than all that. And I hadn't yet thought about the OL cards yet!
