So, is the rule for tie breakers in a tournament still the same? I've just got a feeling that aggro/aggro matches will either end real quick or real slow, and am debating running a few extra worlds/tinks.

Yeah, tie breaker is still the same. The person with the most HP and combined World Count total wins in the event of a tie.
