The author Agnes Baker has the ability to choose from two gate cards when she is in an other world.
Now, with Innsmouth Horror we get cards saying "Discard this card and draw again".
Do these cards count as choices for Agnes or do you think we should first draw cards to replace the "Discard this card and draw again" cards (or DTCADACs) before Agnes chooses her cards? Because it is a huge depreciation of her ability if we do not replace the DTCADACs before the choice, considering how many of these cards are now in the deck.
On the other hand I always tend to read the rules against the players instead of in favour of them. In our last game (without Agnes, but with some choice of cards nevertheless) I ruled that the player who got to choose from two gate cards had to choose from one card the contents of which he knew and a DTCADAC. In a very Lovecraftian decision he chose the devil he knew instead of the devil he didn't...
So, what do you think?
