How is everyone getting images into their threads please?

I cannot directly embed/ post images: and it stinks.

For some reason, I cannot even embed the image as a link. Please let me know if you can see that without having to sign into Google+

What I usually do is upload to a image hosting site like imgur:

It's free, its easy. You can upload pics and gifs, then link to them from here.
