So my friend brought Eldrich horror down for games night and I was kinda -eh- but really, had the most epic game the other night.
So I was playing hartigan, the soldier dude, every encounter I got was something to do with deep ones, i managed to get the sword of st jerome and whisky early - basically long story short at the end of it I was playing a PTSD suffering alcoholic templar, who had utterly genocided deep ones, and assisted our chaos sorcerer dude in trapping cthulu - all while we were backed by a corrupt politician.
This has to be the best boardgame ever.
