I stopped into Evolution games in Lansing and got a few more details about the Memorial Day tournament.

They will use a spring tourney kit and have had great prize support in past tourneys.

Great tournament at Evolution today, with excellent prize support like last time. Congrats to Ben, Ryan and Ken for placing!
The final ranking was:
1st - Ben with dual decimators, Oincun and Patrol Leader
2nd - me with triple interceptors, Soontir, Carnor and Royal Guard
3rd - Ryan with XXZZZZ, Wedge, Rookie and four Bandit
4th - Ken with Jendon shuttle, Vessery defender, and Soontir interceptor

That was fun for my first tournament. And now that I have fancy evade tokens, all my future squads will be based on taking only evade actions. Thanks to everyone that was there.
We are planning to restart league play at Hollow Mountain Thursday 8/27 and should have some tournaments to announce soon as well. :-)
I should be able to make it to hollow mountain this Thursday (20th) if anyone wants to play a game or 2.
It was just me and my son at hollow mountain tonight, but I did pick up my raider.
Also there will be a summer kit tournament September 13th at Hollow Mountain space is limited so signup early.

Can you go over the basics for your tournament rules? I'm in Ann Arbor, would love to make the trip to get my first tournament in, but not sure I could be regular enough for the league. Thanks!
Also, I'm going to try my hand TOing my first tourney at Hollow Mountain September 13th @ 12:00. Cost is $10 and we will be using a summer kit. Additional prizes based on participation. Space is somewhat limited so sign up early.

The Evolution tourney was in July, but Hollow Mountain's is 9/13 at noon. AFK Games also has a tournament on 9/19 at noon. Both have limited seating so I would call the stores directly. We have pretty consistently be using the standard 100 point lists with 75 minute rounds. Hope you can make one or both!
