A few rules questions for the pro's

By Lyter, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Played game for first ime last night and came across a couple questions. Was able to answer most through the forums but a couple i couldnt find, or was generally unclear.

- When using a Ally and giving it to a rebel hero. Does it cost him his activation token to use him or does the strain token he gain count as his own personal activation token.

the other questions escape me at the moment ill edit this when i remember

Allies cannot suffer strain. They have no Endurance value. They're controlled by the heroes but are independent from any one hero.

Allies activate in the same manner as Imperial cards do and follow all the same restrictions Imperial cards do (with the notable exception that when an ally sustains enough damage, they are removed from the table and cannot be redeployed). The heroes as a group decide when to activate their ally and then they exhaust the card, just like Imperial cards.

Additionally, when an ally suffers strain, it is instead converted to damage.
