Straining past endurance.

By Ksarn, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

Hey guys, not sure if I should post these questions all under the same post or seperate ones. I just thought each rules question should be under a new heading to help people with the same question.

Anyway, I read that heroes that recieve strain past their endurance spend health points instead. Now is this voluntary or involuntary only? I can't remember where but I was watching a YouTube video that said that you cannot voluntarily choose to lose health as strain when you are pushed to the limit of endurance. Therefore only imperial or involuntary effects which cause heroes to recieve strain such as relentless assault would cause that to happen. Is this correct?

Yes that is correct. You cannot choose to "overstrain" yourself.

Thank you!
