Any suggestions on what would be good to go onto that style of sheet?
Edited by GM Hooly[Starships]: Player Dashboard
The weapon they have. the facing of that weapon. any maneuvers and actions they can take. ways they can spend advantage and triumphs etc.
Probably much simpler sheet.
Any chance we can get it with the American spelling of armor rather than armour?
It's not like you used manoeuvres...
Edited by HappyDazeVery nice sheet, Hooly!
(and yeah, a 'Murica ! spelling version would be awesome...)
That looks real nice.... Now if we can get oggdude to output a character and ship onto this
Could we do a version for gunners? IE Chewie would get one of these and then Luke and Han would get a different sheet specific to them being at the guns. If one is using the deathstar escape as an example.
Do gunners really need a whole sheet? All my players ever ask are "what's in range?" and "what's the damage/crit/qualities of the weapon?" Don't really need a whole sheet just for that.
That Cyan is a bit bright and looks out of place compared to the more standard blue used on the right side of the sheet. Whatever spelling you go with I don't mind as long as it's consistent.

Yeah, gunners just need a single stat block. They could put that on their character sheet in the weapons section easily.
Pilots and Mechanics need this sheet to keep everything straight.
How's this for you? Version 1.2a - A for 'Merica'!
If people want a bigger version (3.15MB), let me know via private message.
I've also done an example with all the text. Again, using Word.

Nice.
For a little flair, throw in some carbon scoring somewhere on the background and it will look pretty nice. These are outlaws and rebels we're talking about, they cant afford to buy a new ship after every fight.
I would move Hull Trauma to be under the Armor rating, so it flows downward.
While the Action section is good, I would save that for Pilot Only Actions and Maneuvers that are available to the current ship. Which might also include the new Astromech "actions."
The big list of non-pilot actions can be on a different page, because that's universal for all ships. I would keep this sheet limited to ship-specific information.

I'm liking what you're doing here! I'll throw it to the pilot at my table next week and see how he reacts to it. He may just end up drooling, but that's the good news.
Keep up the good work, and thanks for taking my suggestions!
Well.. I was going to use this, but the offensive and incorrect spelling prevents it.

I did crib two of his excellent ideas for the current 1.3.6 release. The shield values now have a blank "Current" panel that you can write into. I also added a 0-9 speed track with 0 and the max speed denoted.
I also worked on showing all of the available maneuvers and actions on the front sheet. The only problem is that when people add their own descriptions to the vehicle actions, they'll most likely add the entire text verbatim, and that was causing the cheat sheet to span multiple pages and it just didn't look good.
What I might do is create a special "References" section in GM Tools that will print out reference sheets. This would include maneuvers and actions for vehicle combat (either generic, or keyed to a particular ship), as well as armor, gear, and weapon cards, plus anything anyone else can think of that would be useful. This probably won't be in any foreseeable upcoming release but it is something I'm thinking of doing.
I got to try it out in the flesh on Saturday night and it works a treat
Here's an accompanying sheet for players to use. I will be moving the Actions and Manuevers from the main sheet and providing a place to record Critical hits and some of the other useful information.
Looking for feedback as always
Very nice Hooly!
I like having both the pilot and astromech actions/maneuvers on one sheet. Very concise. Now my only worry (and it's not an issue with the tools) is that my players will think those are the
only
things they can do. But I think some thorough training in narrativity (it's a word now, honest!) will let them describe what they want, then look on the sheet for the mechanical effect they're looking for.
Since I'm going to get these printed somewhere, I'm thinking that I'll put the action sheet on the back of the ship dashboard and laminate it so they can just use markers on the dashboard, then flip it for reference. If the cost of double-sided is prohibitive, I'll just have a nice laminated reference sheet on heavy card to stand up to being passed around a lot.
I would keep them separate but only do one or two of the Action Sheets. It becomes a resource that gets passed around the table and is not as readily available.
Looks great. Without being too finicky, the Astromech maneuvers and actions assume a PC droid. However, an NPC Astromech can still provide a benefit too... I'm just not sure where you'd have room for it.
Explain a little further?
Check out the sidebar on page 73. I was asked to provide a way to streamline the rules it if the astromech was an NPC.
I read that last night while doing the sheet. I'll revisit it.
As per Agatheron 's request, I present v1.1 of the Starship Action Sheet.
[EDIT: I've updated this to version 1.2 as there were a couple of errors. Check the first post in this thread]
