Gunboats (or hit 'em hard, and then hit again)

I have been looking at going back to the basic principal of killing stuff. Hit it hard and keep hitting it.

I came up with two builds that leave no doubt about their intentions. The question is, which one is going to hit harder, more often and live longest.

Neither list is that subtle, they are designed to kill quickly and brutally.

What about one of each?

I'm not sure Gunner is a good buy on a ship that has a HLC. How often do they miss? I guess they might be needed against cloaked range 3 Phantoms, but really if you have a Focus or a TL to go along with it HLC have a pretty good chance of hitting a cloaked Phantom and range 3 doesn't matter to a HLC.

I think the double Patrol may have legs.

I built the exact squad the other day but haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I think it's a tournament build though and wouldn't be much fun to play with/against in a casual setting!
