New Wave 5 trays from Laser Touch

By LaserTouch, in X-Wing

Great product - I happily took the Laser Touch X-Wing Bag to travel to Worlds from Australia.. 4 flights (carry on), multiple car trips, shuttle busses, taxi's and a lot of use later with not a single damaged model.

Just put my order in for the new Wave 5 trays now and looking fwd to using them.

Thanks for the good work and supporting X-Wing Craig!

Cheers for the update. Good too see that your on the ball with the latest wave.

I really love the multi ship slots, makes it so much easier to plan ahead for future mini purchases

not bad, although I am suprised I don't see one for VT-49 Firespray-31 and 2 shuttles.

This stuff looks amazing. Does anyone know what shipping rates are like to the US?

Hi all

Any other ideas of what else you would like to see in a tray using Wave 5 models ?

Craig

Just waited to say thank you for all the fantastic feedback from everyone

I didn't know lasertouch had a custom tray creator......

Ohhh now I gotta check this out tonight

Isn't this against forum guidelines? We took a pretty hard stance against the poor guy selling fake passports, but this is suddenly ok because it's X-wing?

Also, my 2c regarding the product is that it has poor space utilization, I could not afford to waste that much space in my foam.

Craig,

When will the Wave 5 cutouts be available in the Tray creator? I've got my bag of foam ready to buy but I want to put together a custom Decimator tray!

Really?

Fake passports = not relevant to the forum, entirely illegal, and no one wants to know about it.

X-wing storage foam = relevant to the forum, entirely legal, and a few people like to know about it.

You have missed the whole idea of this design.

The design is to have the ships, bases and dials all in one tray. To this end the tray sometimes looks to waste space.

It was a bit of a tongue-in-cheek comment, which you missed.

I stand by my comment. My current collection would fit in about 3-4 times the volume, and I haven't been very efficient in foam utilization myself.

You can also use our online software to create any tray layout you need.

"My current collection would fit in about 3-4 times the volume,"

What does that even mean bro?

Are you saying you have trays that can fit 3-4 times that of the lasertouch trays relative to size?

If so that is the number one stupidest comment I have ever seen on this board.

How big are your trays?

How many ships do they hold?

What did they cost you?

1. Our software has the ability to create any tray size you want.

2. Depends on how close you want your ships to be, we recommend 10mm between ships

3. This depends on your tray size.

As you can see we are only trying to help the user to safely carry models.

40 small ships 5 large in 40x50 cm. Thickness is 5cm.

I'm not even sure why I'm responding to your comment, you're overly inflammatory.

I am apparently 'challenged' when it comes to working out what trays and how many I need. I have just sent an Email to the address provided on the website.

I hope to hear back soon (not knowing when LT breaks for xmas).

Cheers

Your trays are obviously way, way bigger.

If I'm overly inflamatory it's because you deserve it.

Laser touch do good product and you want to shoot them down. Does it make you feel superior to do this? Even though you're not telling the truth?

I notice you avoided stating the cost of your tray. This leaves me imagining a shoddy hunk of crap that you've cut holes in yourself.

I'll stick to my custom cut trays that surround my minis with ample foam and are sized to fit my Laser touch bag (also awesome).
