The VT is pretty obviously the "Dishimator"
For the YT, idk what to call it and what it reminds me of, but the Outrider and HLC make it a "donut machine"!

Edited by ForceMI like Rhino. Elephant would work too. Or hippo. Or any large grey mammal.
It's the Hiphopopotamus, it's lyrics are bottomless...
Edited by FTS GeckoCan someone explain the reasoning behind the previous names of Squints, Dupes etc. Never really understood them.
With Oicunn, you might want to call the Decimator a Warthog.
Not names for ship types, but me and my friends have nicknames for some of the pilots:
Corran Horn -> Corran Me-So-Horny
Dutch Vander -> Dutch Panda
Etahn A'Baht -> Etahn, A Bat/Batman
Lt. Blount -> Lt. Donut
Tie Eyeball
Interceptor Squint
Advanced Bright
Bomber Dupe
Defender Trip
Lambda Monumental Albino Bantha
GR-75 Space Whale
A-wing Slim
Y-wing Wishbone
B-wing Cross or Blade-Wing
X-wing Snubfighter
E-wing ????
Z-95 ????
Phantom Blip or Blink
Yt-1300 Squint drivers scream OP
Hwk-290 Hawk or Hwk
2400 ???
Decimator ???
CR-90 ???

You have to Squint to see Interceptors, and they also kinda look like an eye squinting. Eyeballs should be obvious, Trips because 3 wings, Dupes idk, and Brights because of the advanced technology.
Bombers are called Dupes because of the double round parts in the middle. {-oO-}
I'm going with "Dash the stampede". Might even paint the yt-2400 red.
I would call a list with anything more than one Shuttle or Decimator a Stampede. Mooooooo!

The X-Wing is also known as a "pointer," since it has five points. Z-95s are called "skulls," since they hunt heads.

I think bombers are called dupes because they are easy targets - the dupes of those who order them out against nimble starfighters.
Y-Wings are called "pig troughs" or "pigs" for the same reason. Even though this is massively unfair to the poor Y-Wing. ![]()
I kind of want to paint my YT-2400 a light sky-blue, with a multi-colored cockpit and engine, magenta viewing screens, and a lightning bolt cutie-mark....

HWK-290's got nicknamed the flying thrift shop. Moldy crow name was forgotten once and accidentally got called the crusty owl. A wings are sports cars. Phantoms got many nicknames with four letters. ![]()
I know it is sorta bad form to acknowledge the existence of the prequels but the "Reek" seems like a natural fit for the decimator. The two "horns" out front sorta sell it.

I thought it was the millennium hamburger?

Looks more like a Kell Dragon to me. Amusingly, Kyle Katarn can still potentially kill one with his fists, at it has 0 agility ![]()

Nothing wrong with acknowledging the prequels. Star Wars is Star Wars.

What do you mean Prequels? I thought those were slated to come out sometime after Episodes 7, 8, and 9.

After much deliberation I've decided that I don't like the rhino comparison, mainly due to the fact that the protrusions are not on the sides of the head… though I agree that a decimator can rage through an enemy fleet like a rampaging rhino with the right pilot at the helm (ie. Oicunn).
Thus, the only animal comparison I can think of is that the pointy bits look like insect mandibles, particularly the stag beetle, which is now the second insect comparison of wave 5 ships I've made on this thread… Oh well XD

Just to stop all the clowns that insist on parroting peppy hare, I counter with "spinning is a good trick!"

You do raise a good point. How about (Cape) Buffalo? Tank, low Agility, but STAY THE *BLEEP* OUT FROM THE FRONT!!

The should reprint "Expert Handling" with the title "Let's try Spin It!"

No, those will be the pre-sequels and will tell the story of what happened in the missing thirty years.
