So if the shuttle is the Albino space cow, and the transport is the Space Whale, do the VT-49 or the YT 2400 get any silly names too? For that matter, do any other ships? I know about squints,dupes, and eyeballs, but what about the other fighters?

I know there have been similar threads in the past, but I haven't seen any for wave 5.

Not sure about the new ships but I like giving my squads silly names like Garkey Farvander And Tycho Dreislander.

Decimator should be the space rhino. Because of the ramming, and surprising mobility.

May give my VT a heavy wash. If I do, it becomes the black Nebulous Rhino.

I'm down with calling the VT the Rhino. I've been referring to the YTs as "Pancakes" (or, occasionally, "Frisbees") lately.

The YT-2400 pretty much as to be the Donut. It's round, not good for you, and often has a hole in the middle.

VT-49 Pronghorn? Of course, with X-Wing's scarcity, "Rhino" might be more appropriate.

If I recall correctly, Defenders are called "Trips" and Advanceds are "Brights".

All the players in my community in Barcelona refer to the yt-2400 as the 'caracol' (which can mean both snail and seashell) as it resembles a shell... though it certainly doesn't move like a snail.

I like the Sea Snail name for the 2400, I never saw that until you said it, but now I can't unsee it. I'm I fan of the Rhino for the VT - 49, although this seems more like a name for the build than the ship.

The VT is the only ship I think doesn't need a silly name. It's called a Decimator. That pretty well sums it up (Big O builds might get called Rhino though).

My name for the VT-49 Decimator is the "Decimator" and my name for the YT-2400 is the "Outrider".
