Not sure i like that quite so much. The old ones were iconic. These ones are less 'Wings' and more 'Gun struts' although i suppose that does make sense on a starfighter.
I think the foreground ship in the X-Wing shot is not the 'classic' X-Wing we know and love, but rather a new model. Please note that there is no Astro Droid there either. And, if you compare the S-Foils to the X-Wings in the background, those are more what we are used to.

Don't think so, Ed. Zoom in a bit. You're seeing the two lower s-foils as one. These are all new models.

Looks more like Wedge but I also vaguely remember something about the Wedge actor not being in it.
a;so the nose is different, and I thing because the wing is so high, we aren't seeing the Droid, but I think there is a bit of the front of one in the closest one as I see a silvery dome shape starting there.. just in front of the engine.. but that may also be the other engine..

Janson looked pretty young in ESB though and that is a similar face... Starting to wonder if bubblepopmei may be right.

-Sith-voice just isn't doing it for me (could just be disconnect)
-has anyone in previous films ever sweat on Tatooine?
-if the actual dropship scene has that flip-flop lighting it's gonna be fugly
-slab-sided-ness of the speeder is odd
Other than that, hell, it's a trailer. Trailers are always wrong.
man that lightsaber crossguard could sheer some fingers or the whole wrist off if the light-saber combat gets as spinny as it did in the prequels...
hopefully, the crossguard's a sign of more proper sword-fighting and less me getting very very dizzy
Here's a good question about the new X-wings. Are they more or less advanced? When the empire became Galaxy-wide their ship-quality dropped precipitously due to the need to mass-produce them. Did the rebellion do the same?

On the lightsaber, it's pretty silly, but could grow on me. When I first saw Maul's lightsaber, I wasn't a fan, but he fought well with it so I came around.
