Its been announced by JJ Abrams himself, we are getting the teaser trailer this weekend.

But how many of you will try to avoid watching it online, in theatres, etc. as to avoid minor spoilers/not being surprised at certain scenes?

Is it better to watch what is sure to be an awesome sneak peek now, and risk taking away some of the awesomeness of the final movie, or to just wait the year to get it all at once?

This goes for all trailers, clips, tv. spots, anything that will reveal parts of the final movie, and therefore effect your experience while watching it for the first time.

If I watch anything, it will be the only the teaser this weekend, and nothing else, in order to make the first time I see it as un biased and therefore in my opinion better as possible. But what are all of your opinions on the matter of whether or not watching teasers and trailers will take away from the final movie, and will you be watching the one coming out later this week?

At some point it'll appear on telly, i wont avoid it or actively search for it.

Given that I can read entire plots for movies on wikipedia and still go on to enjoy watching the movie, I doubt I have anything to fear

I'm going to make a SERIOUS effort to avoid ANY spoilers, previews, and commercials for EP 7. However I doubt I'll be able to ignore it forever. The way I look at it, is I'd like to watch episode 7 now. Tonight. Knowing nothing. If I am somehow able to know NOTHING, then It'll be almost like that when I DO see it, so it's almost like a time machine!

I am in the oppossite. I didn't get to feel the star wars in the trailer. Hell, the stormtrooper with lightsaber was really goofy. The music didn't help either.

Seconded. Already watched the Jurassic World trailer a whole bunch of times and I am way more excited for Force Awakens

Yeah just like i watched the trailer for the "new" star wars battle front Game.... Hoping it would be released soon... still waiting!!!! FFG aint got nothing on them when it comes to slow boats. i think the whole Lucas to Disney transfer messed the game maker up or something... IDK just watched something on you tube dont know if its the official one but it was pretty cool...
