Doesn't seem like it, considering it would've been announced before the Store Championship kits.

Any tournament that has ships to win up for grabs is okay in my books, that said it's looking too late for these waves (anything official at least).

They'd have to give out a hell of a lot of ships to make the last round workable.

Well I would assume it would be for S&V as a whole, not just Most Wanted, something like:

1st: Most Wanted

2nd: IG-2000

3rd: M3A or StarViper

4th: Whatever is left.

Definitely bigger prizes than Imdaar though so might expect more than a bit bigger entry fee than you saw last time.

Did they do one for Wave 2 with the Falcon and Slave 1? That's the closest comparison to this release.

EDIT: They did, with the Falcon and Firespray included as prizes. I wouldn't be surprised to see one for Wave 6.

It will be kind of hard. I know with the past waves ships were pre-released after the tournament as prizes. In the Assault for Imadar Alpha the wave 4 release the final round was supposed to be where the top 2 get to choose a single Wave 4 ship and make a squadron out of it, and their last opponent would be able to select one of the remaining 2 depending on the order of who won. However the top 4 were content with their ship choice and decide not to battle a last round (which was a bit disappointing).

Now I can't see how you could do that with Wave 6 as it is an entirely separate faction unlike the other waves which just added more ships to the current faction. I'm thinking if there are any Wave 6 tournaments it will be Imperial vs Rebel and Wave 6 packs will likely just be pre release prizes.

I guess you could try a draft wave 6 format where each contestant gets a Most wanted pack (paid for by the entry fee) and have to make a single S&V squadron only from the pilots and dials out of a single Most wanted pack so that would restrict every participants to at the most 2 ScumZies, 2 Scum wings, a ScumHawk and a Firescum for everyone to try and make the best wave 6 squadron and top winners get a free Wave 6 expansion. That is sort of one way you could have a Wave 6 S&V tournament.
