100 point Imperial Squad. Comment/Critique.

The 'Revisit Ships' thread has got me to thinking. So I have decided to 'try' and work out how to play a phantom, even remotely effectively. So here is my list I am going to try out. Figured I'd make this a squad-chat thread as well.

Comment & Critique, please.

DPS - Defender, Phantom, & Shuttle.

Omicron Group Pilot + Weapons Engineer + ST321 (27)

Echo + VI + ACD (35)

Vessery + VI (36)

2 points for Init.

I know it's far from powerful, but it synergises easily with the obvious move. Echo is there as my flanker, basically.

Need to get a Tie in there. Not for any strategic or tactical reasons, but because the acronym would instead be PTSD.

I actually like it, but not sure if a initiative bid is needed. I see what you are trying to do with the weapons engineer, but eggs in a basket. I would suggest try it out, then drop weapons engineer and switch to Yorr. Maybe drop title for engine upgrade and a 1 initiative bid, or throw on anti-persuit lasers.

DPS is more standard. =D

@ Jimmius:- Yeah I had that same thought.

@ Blail Blerg:- I like your thinking. DPS is a much better name.

@ Frazio:- I'll give your ideas a try. I was also thinking that I may be able to drop Echo+VI and replace that with Whisper (keeping the ACD).

I don't get to play as often as I used to, or as often as I like, so I might have to try these changes out on Vassal to see how they go.
