Kyle gives him a free focus token from clearing the previous turn's stress. Then he can PtL to take 2 more actions (any combination of boost, barrel roll, target lock, and focus). Generally Dash will boost + barrel roll to get out of arcs, or at least stay at range 2-3. If he doesn't need to boost or barrel roll, then he can token up, and have TL + 2 focus tokens. 4 dice with TL+F, and another focus on defense is absolutely brutal.

The weakness is he moves at PS7 and can't shoot at range 1. So if you can move at PS8 with an Engine Upgrade on a large ship, you have a chance at staying at range 1 to him.

Edit: he's going to be the 4th "pillar" come wave 5.

Okay, thanks for the input. Other people have suggested putting EU on him so he can dodge out of arcs, which correlates nicely with dealing with Dash as you indicated. While I would be a sad panda to not use gunner/ruthlessness, I would be even more sad panda to be taking Kenkirk off the table after a Dash kills him. :-) To VASSAL!!
